Creating Suspense Homework Assignment

PART 1

• Watch the following clips on creating suspense and you'll be answering the big question, "what are the key 'ingredients' in creating a suspense-filled clip?"

• Write a few key points from each of these videos

PART 2

• find 5 examples of  thriller movies., WATCH THEIR OPENING SEQUENCE and find techniques that you'd like to try replicate or play around with in your next preliminary task (these could be an interesting title sequence, an editing technique, use of flashback, narrative (story) convention of having a mystery or enigma that audience is wondering about, a particular lighting technique or sound, maybe like use of silence or a particular sound effect).

•  Make sure you take a screenshot or get images of the effects.

• This should all be collated and compiled into a blog tool presentation like a slideshow/ prezi
